Q: problem connecting to internet

OSX 10.9.5 21.5 Early 2012 IMAC

Trouble connecting to internet, using firefox 43.0.4 and also Safari 7.1.8

Occasionally will connect but most of the time the gear just spins.

WIFI shows it is connected to my home router

My other computer--(Windows laptop) and my phone have no problem connecting to internet using the same home router

Iam not using the cloud

what can I do

Also try turning off Bluetooth.

Try turning off any anti-virus software you have on your computer. That worked for me.
