Q: Rigging diff. cam movements as presets for use in FCPX?
Say, I'd like to create a simple generator, e.g. a Cube.
And I'd like to allow the user to select from a drop-dwn menu a few 'movement options', of the camera (!!)
for example "Sweep l/r", "FlyBy", "Hero Shot" ..
So, I do all the keyframing, but the diff. moves are avail via a rig ..
How do I accomplish that?
Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), Pana707/Sony NEX 5/Pana FZ1000

Hi Karsten!
I've been trying out a few things. Here's an easy way:
Create a new Pop-up Rig.
To the Rig add Camera Position and Rotation.
Set Snapshot 1
Move the Playhead to the beginning of the project (or start position)
Turn on the Record button in the playback controls.
Select the object the camera will be looking at in the layers list.
Repeat: Move the playhead and use the onscreen camera controls to adjust the view.
Turn off the Record button.
Set the next Snapshot...
You can clean up the movement in the Keyframe editor. Select the snapshot. Right click on the parameter names in the rig and Show in Keyframe Editor.
If you need to start over on a snapshot, right-click on the parameter names in the rig and select Reset Parameter.
