Q: iphone 6s camera lag

What if everyone who wrote a post in this thread would state which exact model of Iphone 6s he or she  has :

• Samsung: N71AP (iPhone 6s) en N66AP (iPhone 6s Plus)
• TSMC: N71MAP (6s) en N66MAP (iPhone 6s Plus)

You can check this by using an app like Geekbench, maybe we can then find a pattern in affected models.

mine is N71AP , samsung one. 64 GB.

I have friend with the same problem. We sent it to authorized service but they told us that there is no problem. So right now I trying to find some solution and waiting for return phone from service.

nope, nothings seems to fix this lag. so guys, lets clear this issue up. what are we going to do? what is our action? can everyone that had this lag write what to do?

i personally will wait for the 9.3 update. even i dont like it, i may once again set it as new user after 9.3 and see what happens. if no change, i'll take it back to apple.

You can free up some space from your gallery. It will also affect you camera apps. After you delete some images, go into albums> Recently deleted and delete the images again in order for you to free up some pages and you can try to restart it after.

Come on ! give me a break,  This is the Apple's problem, not users, no way to find technical solution by ourselves,

In addition, all iphone 6S even out of box without any data and apps has this bug happen. you will find out when opening the camera with a few seconds lag right after you finish a few-minutes phone call. it will happen most of the time.

I live in Vietnam, using iPhone 6s 128G. I have the same issue as you mentioned.

I try use 3D Touch to open Camera app, and I fixed camera error. Thanks for All!

Same issues here - very frustrating!  I have a 126GB iPhone 6s Plus (model NKUF2LL/A) with 75GB available.  Version 9.2.1 (13D20) - Verizon.

i couldn't fix the problem here

waited to the new 9.3 version but the problem is still happening

i made clean/fresh installation but the problem is still continuing

i downloaded app for camera and the problem is not occure

My issue seemed to be getting worse - to the point where after video finally pulled up, it wouldn't actually take video.  I tried an erase and restore and when that didn't help, brought it in.  They replaced my phone (which was luckily still under warranty) without question and my new phone is fine.

I dont think replacement can solve the problem cos it is due to the iOS issue as it seems to be, the official iOS9.3 still have such bug, I ve just upgraded the ios last night and check, the bug has a bit change but still exist: such bug will happen after a long time in standby mode, no more happen right after the phone calls made, Apple so sucksss.

Apple, you are able to launch your new products on schedule every year to make money, but unable to keep the basic functions work well.  really hope Apple will fall from grace in the market immediately.

All of so-called products like ipad pro, apple pencil, iphone SE...are full of craps, all against Steve's original concept.

I have the same issue with iPhone 6S really *****.... i changed the iPhone and still have the same error...really apple cure is going down...they have to release update to fix this error

After install IOS 9.3 nothing changed about the camera lag.

it is strange, I dont have this problem with my old IPhone 5 and no problem too with a IPhone 5s.

I have access to 3 IPhone 6s and all of them when these had few minutes in stand by and first action you do it is open the camera app, normally takes some  seconds to open it.... Why ????..... I am going to link a video how I start camera app and you see a dark screen or frozen image never taken, I push home button, then open camera + (or whichever related to open the camera) and you can take a picture or a video normally, push home button again, open camera app and still doesn't work.

Please don't tell me about restored it cause Genius Bar did it twice for me and my Iphone passed the diagnostic test properly three times and how I tell this problem it is not only with my iPhone 6s.

PLEASE DEAR APPLE USERS WRITE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM TO APPLE DO SOMETHING LIKE THE IOS 9.3 safari bug.
