Q: Pictures and Folders will not sync after update

After the latest software update, iOS 9.3, my photo folders from my MacBook Pro will no longer sync to my iPad. I have 2,800+ photos categorized into folders and always sync them to my devices with no issue. No after the update only about 70-100 sync (despite Tunes stating all 2,800 are synced and the folders are duplicated and the pictures within jumbled.

I have removed and re-synced, synced different folders and deleted the photo cache and still they will no longer load onto my iPad rendering the Photos completely useless.

Any other tops or is this another bug that was not tested for or intentional to push people into using Apple's Photo service?

I spent 2 hours on the phone with 3 support techs yesterday. After they ended up erasing my iPad and all of it's back ups I finally got a senior support tech that understood the issue. He didn't have a solution as they have never encountered an issue like this before and it was verified that it was a iOS 9.3 issue and not an iTunes 12.3 issue since my phone still synced perfect on 9.2.

He has escalated it and is working with the developers on what is causing it. I'm supposed to hear back from them by Monday, if I get an answer I will post it here.

Hey guys I had a similar issue with iOS 9.3 update and my iPhone 6s

Turns out walking thru it with Apple support there was one specific folder/file I was trying to sync that caused the sync to stop (but phone thinks it was still syncing for a bit) and anything from that point on would not copy over.

I am tracking down which exact file(s) caused the issue (worked fine prior to 9.3) so that engineering can take a look and maybe fix that in an update.

It's been three weeks and Apple Support has not responded to my case, I have left messages with the "advisor" in charge of my case and he will not respond either. I guess this is Apple's way of trying to force me into using Photos.
