Q: Two Sets of Apps?

Hello!

I have a question. I got a new iPhone 6s plus, and I have noticed that on the home screen, it looks like there are two sets of my apps when I scroll, or slide my finger. Is there a way to get things to look normal? Thanks!

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3

It's not clear what you're referring to. Please post a screen shot.

Try a Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything.

    Hello KitedTim:

Thank  you very much for you reply. I am not too sure how to post a screen shot with the iPhone. I am sorry!

But, I should describe it a bit better:

Okay, so on the home screen, where you see the apps, it looks blurred, but when you scroll, it reveals the apps again, so it is almost like the apps are stacked on themselves (two of the same app on each other). For example, I have the mail app, the camera app, the messages apps, and then when I scroll, they reveal themselves again in the background. Two mail apps, two camera apps, two messages apps, just stacked on each other.

Does that make any more sense?

I looked around on the Internet, and did not see anyone talk about this: maybe software? The next user talked about doing a hard-reset. I might try that.

Thank you so much again for your help!

    Hello elcpu:

I might try this: it might be a weird, strange, odd funny thing with the iOS? I know I have had weird things happen with my iPad and my old phone before. Let me see.

Thanks so much for your reply. It is much appreciated!

Hi GodGirl, there is nothing to lose by trying a forced restart and it cures a lot of issues, maybe this one, maybe not.  Good luck...

Try going into Settings->Wallpaper, and make sure your home Screen Wallpaper is not using using an image of your home screen.

To post a screenshot, press the home and power/sleep buttons together and quickly releasethem,  then use the camera icon above the reply textbox, and choose it from your camera roll.

Alternatively, take the screen shot, and send it to your computer, and post it from there.
