Q: Apple keeps taking money of my card after I have paid the bill. Why ?

I am unable to update my apps because my card keeps saying declined. I know for a fact that I have money on my card.

What money is being taken, do you mean temporary store holding charges when you change/add your card's details - if you do then your card issuer should remove them (if they aren't doing so, contact your card issuer)

For the card being declined, what type of card is it, credit or debit ? If it's a debit card (as you say it has money on it I assume that it's a debit card or a prepaid card) then that might be why not all seem to still be accepted, and they might no longer be accepted at all in some countries.

For a card to have a chance of being accepted it needs to be registered to the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account (so prepaid cards are likely to fail), and have been issued by a bank in the country where you are (and therefore the country which is on your iTunes account). If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it. Or have you got a different card that you could try ?

To download updates to your apps (if you have a card on your account it has to be a valid card and accepted by the iTunes validation, even if downloading updates or free items), try logging into your account (not when're trying to download something) and see if you get the 'none' option so that you can remove it.
