Q: Mac Mini (late 2012) doesn't recognize a display change

I have a Mac Mini (late 2012), 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5, 16GB memory with OS X El Captain Version 10.11.4 and I used to use a SAMSUNG display with 27.5 inches, HDMI connection.

I changed my old 27.5 display to a new SAMSUNG 32 inches but the resolution is not so good and the field "Displays" in "About this Mac" still show the old SAMSUNG with 27.5 inches.

How to reset it and make the Mac Mini recognize the new SAMSUNG 32 inches display instead the old one ?

I've tried to reset the NVRAM, but even using the command, option, P and R, looks like it is not working, I have a bluetooth keyboard.

Did someone have this kind of problem before ?

Try resetting the NVRAM/PRAM with a wired keyboard. Yo can use a PC keyboard

Hi, even using a USB keyboard I wasn't able to reset the NVRAM on this Mac Mini, I press command, option, P and R just after hear the startup sound (low because the display speaker is not available at this moment) and then there is the second startup sound laugh through display speaker, when I release the keys.

Am I doing something wrong ? Is there another way to reset the NVRAM or only this one ?
