Q: Stolen phone recovered but can I find out where it's been?

MY phone was stole this afternoon along with some other things. Phones been recovered thankfully but other stuff hasn't. Just wondering if phone location services would be able to tell me where it was while it's been missing? hopeing it might give police somewhere to lookfor other stuff

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3

I'm afraid, the lasted know position of your phone will be updated as soon as your device is registered at a new location and is connected again to a cellular network.
So there is no trace to find if you check "Find my iPhone" in iCloud on your computer, only the actual location or the last known, if still offline.

Try:
Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services > Frequent Locations > History
