Q: Hi i am using macbook pro with OS x version 10.7.5

Hi i am using macbook pro with OS x version 10.7.5 and just wanted to know that whether i need any anti virus program and if yes kindly suggest the best possible free software of antivirus available

one more issue that some times my trackpad becomes out of order and my cursor is out of control and starts dancing on the screen  really need  to fix this issue

    No AV software is necessary for a Mac.  It has its own built in protection.  AV software may slow down and corrupt your MBP.

     

    Look here for suggestions regarding the trackpad:

    Occasionally a thorough cleaning will restore functionality.

     

    Under the trackpad is the battery.  Old/used batteries can expand and interfere with trackpad operation.  Open the MBP and inspect the battery.  If it has expanded, take it out immediately and replace it.

    Ciao, really grateful for the prompt response. For the AV i will take your words but for dancing issue of cursor seems to be complex thing.My model is a new one and it seems to be inbuilt battery.

    Then you best option is an appointment at an Apple store genius bar and take advantage of the Apple warranty.
