Jan 22, 2016 2:31 PM in response to Mamadubbsby brenden dv,Hi Mamadubbs,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues with updating your iPhone. I'm a bit unclear exactly what you are seeing when you try to update (a non-storage related error or alert, a frozen screen, the Connect to iTunes icons, etc), but if you continue to have issues updating, you may find the information and troubleshooting steps outlined in the following articles helpful:

Jan 30, 2016 10:30 AM in response to brenden dvby jubes1999,Im unable to download ios 9.2.1 either. It says that it is unable to install. When I try to do it on itunes it gives me Error 3014. Even when I download the 9.2.1 ipsw and manually picked it to install, it exacted the same way and gave me the 3014 error. Please help.

Jan 30, 2016 10:38 AM in response to SciencePupby jubes1999,The storage is good. I have tried to install this after fully resetting the phone with all its storage available, installing it with wifi only, with my provider data only, I cant figure it out.

Mar 6, 2016 3:43 PM in response to Mamadubbsby AuntieP69,I had this problem. I tried three times today to install 9.2.1 and each time got the error message to say it couldn't be downloaded.
So I tried a fourth time and this time I didn't let the screen go black - kept an eye on it, and kept the screen live.
It worked. Though it seems odd that it was as simple as that.
