Mar 28, 2016 6:12 AM in response to KewlSwagby mende1,The most expensive Windows editions have a feature called "Windows To Go", which lets you create a bootable USB drive with Windows that you can use in all the computers you want to, but you need an existing Windows installation.
However, from what you say it looks like you do not want to do that (you just want to run Windows from an external drive), and I'm afraid that's not possible: Microsoft does not allow users to install Windows on an external drive.
