Q: after updating to iOS 9.3 the links in Safari and Mail do not work

After updating to iOS 9.3 the links and Safari do not work. Overtime i search in google the results list shows but all the links do not work and Safari gets stuck. Same thing in Mail. So in Safari i should type the exact address to see that particular website or link

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3

No Solution from Apple, no info from Apple about the next steps and what we users could expect. This is zero service!

Apple, why don't I see any reaction or solutios?

I will check out other phone to see if they work using links in mail app.... If they do so, I need to think how about using it in general?

Problem with both iPad and iPhone; Google search provides links but links won't open. Eventually, screen freezes and you have to double click the home button to get out.

Experiencing same problems using either Bing or yahoo

Have tried turning off java script and this then reveals a 'PC like' Google page where the links do work, but since most web sites require java script the website functionality is lost!

I'm sure Apple are working on this but it is mighty frustrating - appears to be connected to the latest IOS upgrade

Switching of Javascript helped with the IOS 9.3 safari problems, but not for the E-mail hang-ups

Same problem here, no response in Safari when clicking on a link. Disable Javascript did't make any difference, nor changing search engine (to Duckduckgo, better than Google anyway).

Very disappointed in Apple - I suspect there is some kind of QC on their software updates?

Anyone how to go back to previous IOS release? With IOS 9.3 my Iphone is pretty useless.

It seems it is possible to downgrade to IOS 9.2.1

It is necessary to download the .ipsw file (you must choose iOS version and device model). Several links and explanation may be founded on the net.

With iTunes, ALT-click on Restore button to downgrade from chosen iOS file.

    BUT :

a backup from present 9.3 iOS cannot be used for an older version : only the last backup with 9.2 will be restored on your device...

I tried... I have got a iPhone which works now perfectly, like before this dark easter week-end, but I lost all messages from 3 last months...

I hesitate: a version that works but with lost data, or a current version without Web access?

    Why no answer from Apple?

    (sorry for the poor english)

Do any of you have the app Booking.com installed? For many this issued showed up on Saturday. Check your updated apps to see if the Booking.com app was updated recently. Sources are reporting this app is at the bottom of the issue. There is a technical discussion going on about a certain file  in that app is that is way larger than normal.

I upgraded my Iphone 6 to 9.3 and have the problem with hyperlinks that cant be opend

I DID NOT upgrade my Ipad Air. It is still running with 9.2. Unfortunately I do have the same problem with my Ipad

Looks like it's not a 9.3 problem for me at least, but more with some third party app that is causing the problem

II have the same issue as many users and have tried all the suggested interim half measure fixes, no luck. The bug is not confined to safari. It affects links system wide and also on occasion in Chrome that I tried. Hopeless. Phone is redundant for the internet until Apple finally recognise there is a serious issue. I will go back to my iPhone 5 on ithe original software and out the 6 in a draw and forget it.
