Q: Google links don't work after iOS 9.3

Apple knows it and work on it. I hope that it will avilabe soon.

how to fix broken ios 9.3 safari/mail links bug:

1) find and uninstall booking.com application, if you have it

2) wait at least 1 hour, bug is gone. maybe you need to reboot once

to reproduce bug again: install booking.com application

I Have this issue too. I have found that if I 'Long press' the links in chrome n select open in new window is the best option. Just makes everything more long winded and u end up with loads of Windows open put it works! Hopefully Apple will fix it soon.

Sadly, it never resolves itself. Not matter how long you wait. if uninstalling works, it's immediate.

Reinstalling booking.com won't cause the issue to come back either if uninstalling fixed it as they fixed it server-side.

Agreed, still have the problem here. I think waiting for iOS 9.3.1 is the easiest solution for me!

Same problem. Saw the other threads as well. Turning off javascript only works on links from within safari not from apps, as near as I can tell. Using Ipone 6 and iOS 9.3.  Only noticed it recently. Waiting for Apple to update.

I wonder how Apple could make a release with such major bugs in key functions? They are ruining their key identity!

My Safari freezes every time I long press on any link, long pressing does not open any options like "open in a new tab".

Switching off java script does not help.

It is unrelated to the new iOS 9.3 update. The bug is old but it was recently triggered by a very high profile third party app.

Workaround in Safari:

Hold the link and choose for "Open in New Tab"

This does not work as long pressing any link invokes swcd, which crashes/freezes Safari.

Uninstalling booking.com doesn't work for everyone. Certainly not for me.

It would be useful if the replies posted under the correct posts instead of in one long date/time order!

I uninstalled booking.com just on case. Waited 4 hours rebooted........waited another 2 hours! Doesn't work. Not trying anything else waiting for Apple fix. Rapidly going off Apple.
