Mar 22, 2016 3:17 PM in response to woodstok1979by elcpu,Have you tried a Forced Restart. Hold down the Home and Wake/Sleep buttons at the same time for about 15-20 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it comes up. You will not lose anything.

Mar 28, 2016 12:44 PM in response to Tai AGBby boilerfan97,★HelpfulThanks for the reply. I have already tried that and variations of that process with no success.
When I go to the "Touch & ID Passcode" screen and select "iPhone Unlock." it gives me the standard screen for setting up finger prints for only a fraction of a second. Then a screen pops saying "Failed. Unable to complete Touch ID setup. Please go back and try again."
I am not able to even try enter the fingerprint page. It will not let me.
This has only began after upgrading to 9.3.
I have scoured forums on other sites for this issue. Nothing.

Mar 29, 2016 4:35 PM in response to boilerfan97by Averysgrammy,I am having similar issues and wondered if it was my phone (which is about to be at the end of Applecare) or the new iOS 9.3. Touch ID to open phone only works about 25% of the time. I never had an issue before this. I deleted all my fingerprints and redid them. I Force restarted. I turned my Apple ID off and on. Nothing has worked.

Mar 31, 2016 7:12 AM in response to woodstok1979by steveyjay,★Helpfulexactly the same problem, Touch ID appears to be turned off in the setting and all my finger prints have vanished.
when I attempt to switch it on a get the 'failed please try again' message.
this has only happened since updating to iOS9.3
seriously considering a Android phone, apples iOS updates ALWAYS come with a long list of faults that surely should have been identified in testing

Apr 1, 2016 12:51 AM in response to nbernard.frby steveyjay,★HelpfulIS anyone else also suffering from massive battery drain?? Plugged the phone in last night. It vibrated twice so I know it was charging.
wake up this morning and nothing, it's taken 20 minutes for the now useless very expensive phone to acknowledge the charger and start charging again.

Apr 2, 2016 12:03 AM in response to woodstok1979by sam.et,Got the same issue, my touch id stops working since the latest upgrade, even when I installed the iOS 9.3.1. Been trying to contact the apple support but they just suggested me to go to the nearest service center
