Basic functionality is built into the keyboard. System Preferences > Keyboard > Text pane.

Otherwise, search Mac App Store (if you're on OS X 10.6.8), or check at MacUpdate.

    Hi,

The Post is in Mavericks (OS X 10.9.x) for the Mac computers but nothing else in the Post indicates this is on a Mac.

What do you mean by "keywords" ?

I filter the Mountain Lion, Mavericks, Yosemite and El Capitan areas by Messages and or iMessages so I only read the threads that have have this tag added.

The Messages version in Mavericks cannot do Text (SMS) message linking with an iPhone.

The app does have a search function though.
