Mar 26, 2016 4:05 AM in response to Neystakby Cunnla,Make sure you have the latest version of Safari. If Safari freezes, force quit by holding Command/ Option/esc keys and selecting Safari, then Force quit.
Next time you start up Safari, do it with the Shift key held down.

Mar 27, 2016 9:54 AM in response to Neystakby Artsiom S.,I have same problem. After 2 days from update to OS X 10.11.4 my MacBook Air (13-inch, Early 2015) begin completely freeze some time (1-2 hours) after Mac is turned on (usually once at the day). In most cases i remember that Safari was opened. Reinstall OS X from recovery in the end after other attempts - nothing helps. Now I read advice of people from other question in Apple Support Communities - try to use Chrome for a while. I really hope that Apple will fix this big problem as quickly as possible.

Mar 27, 2016 6:26 PM in response to Cunnlaby Cunnla,This seems to be a widespread problem affecting some Mac users but not all. See here:

Best contact Apple with feedback so that a bug fix will come out a bit faster.

In the meantime, try using another browser or reinstall El Capitan from the Recovery disk. Boot up holding down Command and R keys to enter Recovery mode.

Mar 28, 2016 6:53 AM in response to nemtrelak21by fbloemer,I see exactly the same issue. OS on Macbook Pro Early-2015 randomly freezes after 10.11.4 upgrade.
Really annoying to have two Apple upgrade disasters in one week (I have an iPhone 5S where Mail and Safari links stopped working too).

Mar 28, 2016 8:47 AM in response to Neystakby Jonathan Milenko,I'm getting this too.
Seems to happen when I'm scrolling down an article in nytimes.com. Mouse still movable. Music streaming in another tab continues. All other functions on the MacBook do not run. Restart required, of course.
