Mar 28, 2016 1:21 PM in response to K Shafferby ChitlinsCC,Howdy K
only HALF the data requested! [but your guess is likely right]
I am not a Time Machine user, but I'll bet that there is some "recognition" protocol preventing the NEW (not stolen) Mac from connecting with the TM
You da man with this one!

Mar 31, 2016 1:30 AM in response to Bimmer6666by K Shaffer,The link provided does give clues on how to try & resolve the sparsebundle issue and you
could try the same search in another engine than Google using these words to see results:
error 110 image not recognized time machine site:apple.com
Since my default browser is duckduckgo because they don't track you, your search, or results,
I recommend trying a search in different browsers to see what else can appear when you vary
the parameters of the newest search.
Sometimes a backup drive archive for a Time Machine needs to be totally for use with Mac OS X
and so the file type and formatting should relate to the system it is expected to help recover. Andanother backup device and regimen is often suggested (not just Time Machine via Time Capsule)
to include full bootable system clones on appropriate hardware. Test the backup idea thoroughly.
Since I'm not fluent in the issue, I'd have to research... and the time is way past my comfort zone
to start in a project (without a means to test ideas as they happen, since I don't have the issue)
at going on 1AM local time. Perhaps the contributor who posted the google search link can help
in using any of the results in there worth pursuing. Sorry I'm not much help in this matter.
Good luck in any event...
