Q: Performance issues photoshop on 13" MacBook Pro (early 2015)

I'm having a lot of lag in photoshop on my 13" MacBook Pro from early 2015, which makes it almost unusable. All the tools (from brushes to the selection tool) have terrible lag, following the cursor with a delay. I'm using a DELL P2715Q display as an external screen, but the problem also occurs when I'm using PS without an external screen.

 

It's driving me crazy and I can't find the cause. Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

    You might also look for assistance in a PS forum.

    I've run Entrecheck, but I don't see any issues there (see below). I'll check for assistance in a PS forum, but I also noticed laggy performance with Sketch.

    I see no problems in the Etrecheck report.  Run Apple diagnostics which might offer some useful information.
