Applicationshi,
You can mark your own posts as Solved if you found the answer yourself or elsewhere.
Apple don't delete posts (they do move some from public viewing for various transgressions).

ApplicationsHi,
Yes I was just in the Lounge in a thread about some getting awarded for cutting and pasting a full post of mine that had been awarded a correct in another Thread and found I could not award a d Correct from the Page even though I created the Thread.
I had thought it might be a Lounge thing (Level 6 users and above rarely need more points).
However I was able to award from the email I was sent because of a new post in the Thread.
The Apple Doc on the Awarding of Points no longer states you can mark your own posts
Award points, level up, and earn new privileges
Having said that I have just gone back to that Thread and Awarded myself a Helpful ("This helped me" under the post) and it worked.
I rarely start my own threads and have lost track of what you can Award yourself.
I presume Apple may have reviewed the use of buttons and found more people partly answered their own questions rather than providing a complete answer for others.
