If you want to burn a video DVD, you need an authoring application to burn a video DVD from the exported video.

Mar 30, 2016 8:40 PM in response to léonieby Denoyer,The last few versions of iDVD will still work fine to burn your video exported from Photos slideshow onto disc, if there is no iDVD preinstalled on your machine, you'll have to obtain it from a 3rd party retailer.
It’s worth noting that DVD will only accepts up to 480p of image quality, if the video exported from Photos are high definition, you'd better go with a Blu-ray to burn the video.
