Q: Unable to connect my work's iPhone 6 to 2 (laptop/notebook) via Bluetooth.
Hello.
I got both work's 15" MacBook Pro (Retina; early 2013)'s Mac OS X v10.10.5/Yosemite) and a Thinkpad Lenovo W530's 64-bit W7 EE SP1 to pair with the work's iPhone 6 (iOS v9.3), but they do not connect. iPhone's iOS' Bluetooth said "Not Connected". I just want to copy my image files between all of them.
Mac OS X's connection before retrying 64-bit W7's. If I click on its MacBook's name, it says "Connection Unsuccessful -- Make sure "computername" is turned on and in range.Mac OS X says "Not connected" for "Work iPhone 6" device. Double clicking on it shows "Network is unavailable. Make sure network access is enabled."
64-bit W7, I tell its Bluetooth to find and pair to the detected iPhone 6. I see the device in iOS. Again, "not connected". HOWEVER, it says "Connection Unsuccessful 'computername' is not supported." and to forget this device. WHY?
Why is wireless stuff so difficult? USB cable was easy.
Thank you in advance.
