Q: Others not receiving messages through Bonjour.

Our studio has been having issues with Messages where it will show a message has been sent but others won't receiving them though. If the other person sends you a message, or you restart messages it seems to re-open the connection and they will start receiving messages again. We are all connected through Bonjour. We are all running on OSX 10.10.5, and connected by ethernet. Any suggestions on how to resolve this?

Thanks,

Patrick

    Hi,

Double check the name of the computer in System Preferences > Sharing.

Double Check the Address Book/Contacts app is not set to having the Same My Card (Contacts > Card Menu > Show My Card) from using a generic Update file.

Also if you display Shares in the Finder Side Bar  is it listing all the computer all the time  ( I understand this might be impractical with large numbers).

Try a NVRAM reset on the effected computers
