Q: SO many problems since the iOS 9.3 iPad update. Grrrrrr!

Mar 30, 2016 7:01 PMby Demo,IF the update has already been installed, you can not remove it, if that is what you are asking about. I assume that Apple has removed the ability to downgrade by no longer signing it. Have you tried DFU mode like elcpu suggested?

Mar 30, 2016 7:33 PMby elcpu,Yesterday two users posted that they had tried to downgrade to 9.2.1 and they could not as Apple had quit signing it. That is not surprising since it has been 9 days from first issuance. However today one user said it was still available. I did not want to question him and I dropped off from the discussion. I would tend to believe yesterday's reports. I do not know how to confirm other than trying it and I would not recommend it. Regardless:

DFU mode is difficult to get into, may have to try repeatedly as timing is critical (I have never done it). It would be a last resort IMO. Please remember that there is always the Apple Store option. I am going to watch a House of Cards now, as many problems there but they are not real!!!

Apr 1, 2016 4:32 PMby vintageR,Talked to Apple on the phone this morning and they were trying to get me to do everything you suggested ALL over again. I said "no way" as I had repeated the steps several times over the past few days. I requested the supervisor. She said she reviewed everything and had no idea what had happened to my iPad regarding the update. She said that one of the steps I performed should have fixed the problem, and even the 9.3.1 update should have fixed it. They are sending me a box so I can send the iPad to them to have it fixed. It will either be fixed, or replaced at this point.
