Q: How do I remove apps from apple watch

At the moment all of my apps appear on my watch face which makes it difficult to find the ones I want.  Could someone tell me how I select which ones I want to have and remove the rest.

Apple Watch, iOS 9.3.1

GO into the watch app on your phone.  scroll down until you see the apps, as far as I know, you have to click on each app and turn on/off "Show App on Apple Watch".  If there is a way to do it "in bulk" I haven't found it   .

    Hi

When seeking to remove apps from your watch, note that it is not presently possible to either hide or remove / uninstall the apps that are included as part of the watch's software (watchOS).

If you do not want further Apple Watch apps to be added to your watch automatically when installing new apps on your iPhone, turn off Automatic App Install:

    - On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch > General > App Install > turn off Automatic App Install.

The answer to this question was written prior to OS3. What's the answer now?
