Apr 2, 2016 10:43 AM in response to Myomamanby Linc Davis,I am told I do not have permission to do so.
Did you log out or restart after removing the rest of the malware? What version of OS X are you running? What is the exact, complete text of the error message?

Apr 2, 2016 3:28 PM in response to Linc Davisby Myomaman,Linc, thanks, I didn't see your prompt response because i didn't notice it moved to page 3... I'm a newbie on the forum.
Yes, I restarted and was pretty proud of myself so I proceeded to change all my passwords then I stopped in my tracks when I saw the Uninstall app for Kuklorest in my Applications. When I use Finder to look at it, I find there is also a README txt file there as well. In each case, when I attempt to move them to Trash, the system requires me to enter my admin password (concern?) and when I do, it returns the following error message with the familiar yellow triangle:
The operation can’t be completed because you don’t have permission to access some of the items.
I was just about to try a sudo srm -rf command in terminal but i don't know that like i once knew DOS. Hope you have some ideas. I'm guessing it is a harmless remnant but I still want it gone. Thanks for your help!

That's normal. Just enter the password.

Apr 2, 2016 3:58 PM in response to Myomamanby Myomaman,Okay, I tried moving the entire Kuklorest folder instead of the fils to Trash and to my surprise, that worked, then to my further amazement, i was able to permanently remove everything in the Trash. Problem solved! Thanks for your help earlier.

Jun 4, 2016 7:21 AM in response to lora from lake orionby Richard Gronostajski,I've gotten rid of Kuklorest from my Safari browser but nothing seems to get rid of it from my Chrome browser. I even deleted Chrome completely and reinstalled it. I eliminated lots of files from Launch Agents but am afraid to eliminate any more. Is there anything that will remove Kuklorest from my Chrome Browser?

Jun 4, 2016 1:55 PM in response to lllaassby Richard Gronostajski,I managed to find additional files in the LaunchAgents file, deleted them, and that did it. What an insideous malware package. Why is this "company" allowed and website and why hasn't it been prosecuted?
