What happens when you try to do a Restore on your iPod? Please provide more details about your situation...

it does show up in itunes
itunes said it encountered a connection prob
suggested I restore the iPod and I did it was going through the sync process then I got error message 1403 / 1433 I believe
now it just says in that loop even though it deleted all songs
ipod has been rebooted/changed connection cord / diff USB port
been on on phone to tech sup
een to Genius Bar
this is is older iPod but it has been connected to my car radio so very limited connecting or control use
it is controlled by the radio
now I'm letting battery drain totally with a hope of it fixing itself
??

now I'm waiting for the iPod battery to completely discharge I don't know if that will do anything
i I may reload iTunes but the Apple Store tried and could not get it to restore
i Just think maybe there is some kind of "trick" to make it work
the iPod controls all appear to work
