Q: switched emails, and icloud is inaccessible now

i switched emails for my itunes account, and i can no longer access icloud on my phone. It keeps asking for the password associated with the old email, but when i enter the password, it says the old email is not a registered username. in addition to that, when i enter in the password with the new email, it says its invalid. any suggestions?
