Feb 27, 2016 2:22 PM in response to JEStewartby mjg2,I have the same problem. When control center won't swipe up, the notification center also won't swipe up once down. Any solution?

Mar 3, 2016 8:45 PM in response to mjg2by Kathirselvan,I also faced the same problem and when i took it to service center they told that its hardware issue and replaced a new one. But unfortunately, the new one also had the same issue and this time the service personnel advised me that this is definitely a software issue as not all devices can have hardware issue. They asked me to wait for an official apple update or fix sometime in late march. I spoke to the apple support iOS senior technical advisor and explained the issue. he asked me to capture video of the issue and send so that apple can look into it and fix. I have mailed the video yesterday and waiting for the reply.

Mar 12, 2016 9:11 PM in response to JEStewartby alamophotographer,I just discovered the same issue. I have the iPad pro for about two weeks now. This just recently started happening and it's the same as you described only an issue on portrait mode and intermittent if I swipe 20 times it may come up seven out of 20 but not every time

Apr 2, 2016 9:59 PM in response to JEStewartby jameseboy,Also seems like the home button side of my iPad Pro screen isn't recognizing swipes onto screen. If in portrait mode, the Control Center won't open, if in landscape mode, no swipe-over multitasking and if upside down, no Notification Center. Restore didn't solve anything.

Apr 3, 2016 4:15 PM in response to jameseboyby jameseboy,Doing a hard reset of the iPad solved the problem for a few minutes, but it eventually returned. Seems to be a software issue. I have not been able to pinpoint if anything in particular is causing it yet.
Also, is there a way to edit previous posts? Can't seem to find it. No need for me to take up multiple posts for new info.

You are given a 10 minute time frame from the original submission time to edit your post. After 10 minutes, you cannot longer edit the post and have to create a new one.

Apr 3, 2016 7:35 PM in response to SergZakby NCSUstudio,I'm having this swipe up control center problem in iOS 9.3.1 in portrait mode on my iPad Pro 12.9".
-
Apr 19, 2016 9:38 AM in response to NCSUstudioby Daphoid,Confirmed, same issue here. Swiping in from the home button / touch ID doesn't bring up control center or notification centre (depending which way you've got it orientated).
Also affects multi-tasking as well.
This is on a 12.9" iPad Pro I received last week.

Apr 20, 2016 5:47 PM in response to JEStewartby tHe Rk,I Thought I was the only one with this issue, and it has not been fixed during any software updates so I thought maybe it was a hardware issue Until I found this thread. How do we escalate the problem to Apple to get this fixed? This is a major bug!

Apr 20, 2016 5:56 PM in response to tHe Rkby Daphoid,Have we confirmed it's software based? It only does it on the one edge of the screen and I tested it today. 10 swipes on every edge of the screen.
Left: 10/10
Top (Camera): 10/10
Right: 10/10Bottom (Home Button): 3/10
(swipes successful)- D

Apr 20, 2016 6:00 PM in response to Daphoidby jameseboy,I submitted a bug report on the 3rd, but seems it hasn't gotten any traction.
Since it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't it leads me to think software... It'd be pretty bad if so many iPads have hardware issue too.
I've seen posts saying that replacing the iPad did and didn't solve the issue, so who knows. I'd suggesting submitting bug reports. The more they see the quicker we may get an answer.

Apr 20, 2016 6:10 PM in response to jameseboyby Daphoid,Fair enough, here's hoping because other than this issue mine is flawless and I love it .
I'll go submit a bug report right now.

Apr 25, 2016 7:08 PM in response to JEStewartby zel777,Same problem here. I can swipe the Notification Center and the control center in any orientation other than normal portrait mode. Landscape and upside-down work just fine. Let's hope the next software update addresses this issue. It's quite an annoyance for such an expensive purchase.

Apr 25, 2016 7:15 PM in response to zel777by tHe Rk,Come on @apple fix this already! This has been an issue since launch! Its a ridiculously large bug to not have been fixed yet!
