Q: What if I loose/misplace my phone?

Now that I've opted into Two-Factor Authentication, I can't log into Find My Phone with a borrowed comp/device and find it or "brick" it. Help me please...

iPhone 5s, iOS 9.3.1

A:

Not all services require more than your password, so you should be able to sign into Find My iPhone without it. Thank you Orig...022,

The FAQs that your referenced had nothing on this. That's the reason why I posted my Q. However, after signing into iCloud.com and getting the prompt for the 6 digit code I also noticed that there were links to gain quick access to some things. One was Find My Phone. I clicked it and all is as you've stated. What I've also discovered is that my iPad is the "device" that gets the 6 digit code and NOT my iPhone... even though I've set the Two-Factor Authentication for my iPhone ph number. Hmmmmm... Any ideas?

You can set up multiple trusted devices. Putting in your phone number is different than setting your phone as a trusted device since it will send the code to you as a text message instead of to the device itself.
