I have 4 folders of photos, total 610 photos.

When I try to sync them to my iPhone 6s (iOS 9.3.1) iTunes (12.3.3.17) syncs only 155 of 610 photos !!!

Tryed deleting photos cache, restored iPhone, even formated my MacBook Pro (clean install El Capitan)

still the same problem!!!!

Tryed syncing with photos.app, still the same result !!!!

Never had this problem before !!!!!

Submited feedback to apple...NO response!!!

Thank u apple,

I had one small album with 28 photos. Only 3 photos of this album were synced.

And in addition I hat about 20 albums with more than 100 photos in each. In this albums only max. one photo was synced. I found out which photo in my small album caused the break of the sync (not the great problem with a small album). And after deleting this photo, the other albums synced completely too. Sound somehow unbelievable. But so it was.

Strange is, that the great albums did also not sync, when I only started syncing these albums (without the small 28-photo-album).

I have the same result...it synchronizes just fine to my iPhone 6S Plus....but not my iPad Pro 12.9" for some reason.  It sync'd to my iPad Air 2 just fine.  I've deleted Photo Cache a few times and rebuilt it over and over again but iTunes just likes to hang and stop...I don't get it...

    iOS 9.3.1 is the culprit.

I have an Aperture library to sync in iTunes.

iPhone 6S+ (iOS 9.3) - sync a photo collection of 11100 photos without issue

iPad Pro 9.7 and iPad 2 (iOS 9.3.1) - sync stops at 4000 photos for the same 11100 photo collection

Rebuild photo library, Clone the whole library to new HD, change cable, change USB port to directly out from Mac mini: all didn't work.

It's very annoying that the photo sync breaks and only a castrated collection of photos can be viewed on the new iPad.

    Apple, please fix.

Today I spend all morning searching for corrupted photo files, even renamed a lot to see if it would work...

checked all my file extensions..everything is ok!

    Syncing problem remains..

My iPhone 6 iOS 9.2.1 synced my photos library just fine!!!!!

My iPhone 6s iOS 9.3.1 (restored as a new) with a clean restored MacBook to El Capitan 10.11.4

    JUST REFUSES to.....!!!!

    I can't think of anything else....I'm tired & dissapointed!

    For me it is an OS  B U G  that must be F I X E D!!!!!

C'mon.  We're not that dumb.  Most of us have done that and we say in our posts that we've done that.  I've certainly done it multiple times.  It doesn't seem to be an iPhone problem for me, BTW - just for the iPad Pro 12.9".  Thinking about restoring to 9.3 instead of 9.3.1.  We'll see.  But turning the phone off and on did nothing of course.

its not a firmware anything. If you delete itunes 12.3.3 and install itunes 12.3.2 then photo sync works reliably.

That's not correct. Syncing works fine with my iPhone 6S Plus. It does NOT work wiith my iPad Pro 12.9". So it's clearly not an issue with iTunes; it's a device-related cache issue.

OK so you're telling me to uninstal iTunes 12.3.3.17 & reinstal 12.3.2

    Re-sync.... 2500 mp3s & 600 photos again!

    & it will sync ok...

why to loose two more hours because apple screwed iTunes or iOS?

I had the same problems.  I found 4 photos out of 1500 that did not have read/write permission.  Removed the 4 photos and was able to sync the album to iPad Pro.  Those same 4 photos were not a problem when syncing until recent OS and iTunes updates.  Hope this helps.

    you made my day

I uninstalled iTunes 12.3.3.17 and put the old 12.3.2 on the MacBook Pro

and *boom* all my 7000 music titles and nearly 2000 photos were synced to the iPhone 6s

    THANX!!!
