Q: iOS 9.3.1

after upgrading to iOS 9.3.1 my iPad screen is behaving very erratically. It jumps from one app to another on its own and does not remain stable while running any app or safari. When trying to use the keyboard the alphabets get types mostly repeated  on their own. This has rendered my iPad 2 useless.

Have you tried restarting your device: Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them both down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds - really). Once the Slide to Unlock screen displays, see if the issue is resolved.

    Cheers,

Have you used too much storage?

Check Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage).  Make sure you have an absolute minimum of 10% of your iPad's total storage free (hopefully considerably more).

when connected to iTunes it shows storage to be full... most of the storage is occupied by documents and data.. in my case i do not have any documents or data on my iPad... but it still shows the storage to be maxed out

Again, you must look at Manage Storage under Storage, not under iCloud.

I believe the Manage Storage under Storage does not even have a category called Documents & Data.  iCloud does have such a category.

UPDATE: Oh, sorry, you said you looked under iTunes.  I said you should look on the iPhone directly.

I guess you are not going to look at Settings > General > iCloud & Storage Usage ...

That would apply whether you were using an iPhone or an iPad.

    Good luck.
