Q: imessage Chatroom conflicts

Is it possible to explain when creating a new chat room with a group of 6 users which 5 have been used in a previously created chatroom why some responses go back to the old chat room and not the new one.

Is this problem only created when trying to add an additional user to an existing chat room.  In essence it looks like a new chat room has been created but this causes conflicts.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

    hi,

The issue seems to be something to do with the fact the Mac version does not let you add and subtract people from an existing group chat.

It appears the iOS version does, or rather your can leave the Chat and you can Add someone. It is unclear if you can remove someone.

I would have all users Leave the First chat.

Enter the chat on the iPhone and click the Details top right.

    Scroll down to Leave.

Of course not everyone is going to have access to an iOS device to be able to do this.

I don't have a group chat on my Mac to see of deleting the Chat works as there appears to be no other method.
