Q: cleaning the band

I currently have a fitbit and it is impossible to remove newsprint and other such marings from the band including Clorox (as you can tell, I am desperate); however, I do not want a black band. What bands pick up the least dirt and ones that stains easily cleaned without harsh substances.

    Hi

Apple's does not recommended using any cleaning products when cleaning Apple Watch bands.

    The recommended steps are:

    • For leather and woven nylon bands:
      • Wipe down the band with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth.
      • If required, the cloth can be lightly dampened with fresh water (leather bands are not water resistant, so should not be soaked).
      • Allow the band to air dry, whilst avoiding exposure to direct sunlight, high temperatures or humid conditions, which can cause damage.

    • For all other bands, buckles and enclosures:
      • Wipe down the band with a nonabrasive, lint-free cloth - which again can be dampened with fresh water if required.
      • Dry the band with another nonabrasive and lint-free cloth.
