Q: Songs no longer are added to the top of the playlist

Whenever I added songs to a certain playlist, they would appear at the very top of the playlist just how I like it and now it no longer does that and I haven't done anything with the settings for that to happen. There's only one playlist of mine that I have that still have songs added to the top.

    Howdy akaFl_re,

I understand that items added to a playlist in iTunes are no longer added to the top of the desired playlist. If this is the case, it's likely that the sort order or the affected playlists has been changed. In order to have a playlist sorted in the order that songs have been added to them (so as to have most recently added songs at the top of the playlist) follow the steps outlined below.

    1. Open the desired playlist
    2. Turn on iTunes menus in Windows if they are not already on
    3. In the menu bar, select View > View Options... and select Songs
    4. At the top of the list of songs, click the first column header

      • This column will only have an indicator that is either pointing up or down (v or ^)
    5. Click this header until the arrow is pointing down (v)

This should sort the playlist as desired, and the sort order should be retained!

    Regards!
