Q: How may I backup when I can not enter my passcode on my broken screen?

I am trying to back up my iPhone on iTunes but my screen won't allow me to enter my pass code.

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 9.3.1

You cannot backup without being able to enter your passcode.
Was it backed up prior to the damage?
Was it backed up to icloud?

Thank you Bryan. I have not backed up the phone and am not able to enter the pass code on the screen. I was hoping there was an auxiliary method available when the screen is broken.

Have you enabled iCloud on the device? Was backup enabled, even if you never actually started a backup to iCloud?

There is an automatic backup to iCloud that runs when your device is not on battery only, on a wifi network and locked. For most people, that will be at night.

If you call Apple Support, thy can check your iCloud account for a backup. Worth the call IMO.
