Q: Remembering your iTunes backup password

I backed up my phone it iTunes and wrote down the backup password.  It is wrong and I don't know what the proper one is.  Apple says you cannot recover your backup if you lose the password and there is no way to reset it.  This is very frustrating.  Has anyone else solved this problem?

    If you mean you encrypted your backup and you cannot remember the correct encryption password, then there is nothing that can be done. You can try as many times as you like, so keep trying different combinations, or other passwords that you may have used. If you cannot figure it out, then you will not be able to use the backup.
