Q: Unable to mirror with apple TV(3gen) in iOS9

it's been noticed that after you update your IOS in ipads, iphone, and ipads they do not mirror with apple Tv anymore, it's just showing the apple tv but only in the speaker, and when i play something it's just sounds, but nothing else, i tried with macbooks pro(el capitan) and works, i try with ipad(IOS8) and works, but nothing with the IOS9 in iPads and iPhones.

i have made the update in apple tv, but yet doe's not wants to get me an update of the apple TV to the latest released OS, just the preview.

So my concern is i'm apple reseller, and if apple Tv does not work with the latest iOS in iPhones and iPads, i can not sell it until it's fix or discontinue.

i need an answer

as a apple reseller I hope you have a better connect line to apple then this because this is an user helping user forum we are not even resellers but mostly I would say private civilians

but I can inform you that my iPhone 6s and ipad2 with latests ios versions is perfectly able to airplay mirror to my appletv 4g

Sounds like your issue is getting the ATV3 to update. I would suggest you try a restore on the ATV3 and see if it works. Otherwise restore the ATV3 using iTunes.

I have an ATV3 and all my devices are on iOS9 and Airplay works perfectly.
