What will happen to an updating ipad if it shutdown through the process??

    I couldn't open my ipad after ot shutdown even if i already charge it?there is an omage appearong in the screen (a charger plug arrow and itunes icon) what does this mean??

    If the iPad "shut down" while updating, did you leave it alone for a while?  Depending on the update being performed, the iPad may be updating its files with a dark screen for a new minutes, before showing the Apple logo.  If you interrupt that active process (by forcing a restart), it may cause data corruption.

     

    That image means connect it to a computer running iTunes?  The likely reason is because there is data corruption on the iPad's storage, so it cannot start up normally.  You may need to do a Restore on the iPad using iTunes, which erases the iPad.  Hopefully, you have a recent backup using iTunes or to iCloud.  If you do, you can restore your data from the backup, after the Restore completes.

     

    You can try doing a Force Restart

    but it will probably go to the same error screen asking to be connected to iTunes.
