    Hi

    Apple advises that third-party bands:

    • May not fit properly;
    • May contain materials that cause skin sensitivities or other health concerns;
      • Every material in Apple bands that touches the skin has been extensively evaluated in accordance with Apple's specifications.
    • May interfere with the Wrist Detection feature;
    • May damage Apple Watch:
      • Unauthorised third-party bands may have components that do not meet Apple's design specifications.
      • Such bands may, for example, become jammed in the watch (an example of this has been posted here previously), release too easily, fail to resist slide-out force, corrode easily or exhibit other issues.

    For the best performance and results, use only Apple branded or Apple authorised bands.

    All presently available Apple bands are available to view and purchase here (in the UK):

    I haven't seen any Apple watch compatible bands available on the UK high street, and I have to say I'm not sure where I would look as most places that I'd trust would stock Apple gear and therefore unlikely to stock them.  That said, there's a pretty good, and trustworthy market on-line for bands that either come with adapters or which you can pair up with good adapters.  The best sites to look for are those who sell good quality straps for higher end traditional watches such as Panerai, which also have interchangeable straps.  There's a great selection of NATO style, leather, etc bands that don't break the bank, are individual, and come from European suppliers so arrive within a couple of days.

    Hope this helps.
