Apr 9, 2016 8:55 PM in response to Christopher Scholfieldby Duane,There is confusion here. The link that Mike posted above shows clearly how to upgrade the RAM in a 27" late 2013 iMac. That is why I am asking you to check and post the information from "About this Mac" .

Apr 9, 2016 9:04 PM in response to Christopher Scholfieldby den.thed,The one under the power cord is to open the Memory door.
The other small slot is for a cable lock to secure your iMac.

Apr 9, 2016 9:23 PM in response to Mike Sombrioby Christopher Scholfield,I must apologize to all.
I checked your reference and it was spot on. Apple's description of memory upgrades looked like the button was large and above the power cord jack. That and the lack of listing for the late 2013 model in the preinstruction spreadsheet confused me. I also thought you were pulling my leg.
Thank you for your time and patience,
Chris
