Q: My HP 6500 AirPrint printer wont print any longer after re plugging in AirPort Express
After finding my Airport Express 802.11n blinking yellow I unplugged it and then plugged it back. Green light came on. Then nothing would print to my HP
6500A officejet printer. I says it is connected. I have installed and reinstalled the printer, run diagnostics, turned the firewall off And it still will not print fron ipad iphone or Dell computer using Windows 10

Not sure if resetting your printer solved your problem, 23mom, but I had what appears to be a similar problem with my HP Photosmart C7280 a few weeks ago after updating to OSX 10.11.4, but resetting my Airport Extreme base station, not my printer, solved my problem.
After updating, my printer frustratingly indicated that it was connected to my Airport network, but I still couldn't print to it wirelessly from any app on my iMac, as I'd done reliably for several years. I first reset the printer as described above, but that didn't work. Then I ran the diagnostic stuff, deleted/reconnected my printer to my wireless network a few times, checked to see if I needed an updated HP driver, etc.
I actually resigned myself to buying a new HP printer when I thought of resetting my Airport base station. I performed a soft reset, and it worked for me, but this Apple doc offers tons of info about how to perform a soft, hard or factory reset, if resetting your printer didn't solve this problem.
