Q: (numbers) multiply two columns and place the results on a third column

Specs: Iphone 6 and ios 9.3.1

How do i multiply all the two columns (A and B) of any amount of desired rows (Say, A2 to A10 and B2 to B10) and place the results in a third column C adjacent to columns A and B?

I don't have to do this one by one (example : C2=A2 * B2,C3=A3 * B3 etc...)

    Hi Palindrostellar,

There are a couple of ways to do this.

First you create your formula in C2.

    1. Access the popup menu and tap the right arrow to find the "Fill" command. Drag the yellow bar down to fill your column.

    2. Copy C2. Select the cells you want the formula in and select paste in the popup menu. Select Paste Formulas.
