Apr 10, 2016 12:39 PM in response to Anonzby Ralph Johns (UK),Hi,
I only switch my computer on for about three hours a day when I come here to post.
When the time I might finish work changes I iMessages my wife.
Since about mid January as far as i can tell I have not seen all to the iMessages I sent on the iPhone during these chart conversations appear on the Mac when I switch it On and launch Messages.Nor are the Notifications showing up to say there are replies from my wife being synced..
However most of the time I do see my wife's side.
I have tried Signing Out on the Mac version then back in again.
This did not generate the pop from the iPhone to confirm what it was using (I may not have left enough time in between)
I am reluctant to reset the iPhone fro Messages just yet as it is only one contact that this happens with and it would also involve resetting Text Forwarding which is not always a smooth task as it should be.
IF it is a real issue then Sign Out of the Apple ID on the iPhone.
Turn the Messages App Off fro a few minutes.
Wait fro the iPhone Number to re-verify before adding back the Apple ID.
Accept the pop up on the Mac.
Reset Text Forwarding if you were using it.
