Q: store not available

Frustrating: Books are finished, ordering is not possible. "Store cannot be reached. Is being acutalized at the moment". And this for days. The problem seems to be the server at the Apple side. Tried with resetting router, opening all firewall settings - still not possible. Tried with iPhone-Hotspot-Connection. Does not work.

Any suggestions?

Yes, my country settings for Fotos are OK.

Yes, ordered books many times, resently. Always lucky punch...

As of April 1 of this year the App Store is no longer supporting iPhoto.  If you want to order a book you have two options:

1 - with iPhoto save the book as a PDF file according to this Apple document: Preview a print project in Photos or iPhoto to avoid issues - Apple Support. Then send the pdf file to PrestoPhotos and order the book from them.  They advertise that they can print and bind books from the PDF files created by iPhoto or Photos.

2 - migrate the library to the new Photos app and order with it.  However, I would recommend you update the system to El Capitan which will also update Photos to V 1.5 and oder from that version of Photos.

It looks like it's time you migrated to the new Photos app.  Good Luck.

The Fotos forum is hard to find for several reasons.  The Photos for Mac application goes by different names, depending on your Primary System Language.

It is called Foto, Fotos, Photos, Foto's, Bilder, Zdjęcia, Kuvat, and more.

And because Photos  for Mac is a part of the system software and installed by MacOS X and not a separate application, you will find it in the Apple Support Communities as a forum in the MacOS X & System forums.

Is your timezone set correctly?  If the Date&Time System Preferences  do not match the country settings the Store services do not work.
