Q: iPhone 6 plus now won't sync music and ringtones

My iPhone 6 has just been giving me fits lately.

The latest is it has stopped syncing a large portion of my music library.  Some purchased from the iTunes store, some ripped from CD's.  Also it will not sync a few custom ringtones, but will sync some.

Whenever I sync in the last 2-3 days I get the "100 files could not be synced because the file type is incompatible with this iPhone"  but most the songs were purchased from the iTunes store...........

I have done a hard reset.  Restored the phone.  Made sure the music is in my iTunes library.  etc.  And nothing works.   Androids are looking better and better....sigh.

(the siri mic only works intermittently also, but thats another problem)
