Q: All browsers/Dropbox will not open (internet working fine
Hi all - I am cleaning out my old MacBook Pro (15in, 2010, 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB ram) to transition to a brand new Mac. I last backed up via time machine this morning to a WD passport and was planning to move some random files to an extra passport that I have. When I plugged in this second drive, my computer froze. I forced the computer off and when I turned it back on, the background had changed to a stock background and NONE of my browers will open. When I try to look for files, the finder window will suddenly close out. Mail will not open. My fan is also very loud.
Amy sort of explanation/solution to this? I've tried to reset with cmd+opt PR, no luck. Restoring from an old back up on time machine also did not work.
