That doesn't seem really fair. Most people come here genuinely wanting help and are willing to learn.

Apr 12, 2016 1:07 PM in response to chelychel22by ngrasmick15,Sometimes this can happen if the phone is dropped or shook in just a certain way. The digitizer (a series of ultra small invisible cables that detect minor electrical changes to determine where your finger is on the screen) can cross connections and make it appear that your finger is on the screen to your device. Unfortunately this means its likely a HARDWARE issue. Best case scenario you take it to apple and politely ask a technician to help you. "Remember, 1. these guys did not build your phone, 2.they did not break your phone, 3. these guys are here to fix your problem. They don't get nearly as much credit as people should give them." Prices for a screen replacement have recently dropped so it may not be as expensive as you remember to have it done. Of course if your under warranty they should cover the charge for free. BOL

May 8, 2016 7:03 PM in response to Duneriderby JonBoy37,I disagree with what they said about the aftermarket chargers. My wife and I both use the same aftermarket charger, my phone acts weird, hers does not. I've read that before about the chargers, but I'm not buying it.

May 13, 2016 3:32 AM in response to 1EleanorRigbyby 1navy,i got same problem here
i use iphone 6 plus. my phone is in good condition. i was having trouble with iphone 6 plus since three days ago. but today it's really gone crazy. my iphone 6 plus touch screen gone crazy without i'm touching it. It also pastes my previous messages by itself and typing random alphabets. when i open my contact list, it makes call to people on my contact list by itself. the touch screen gone crazy it refuses to do what i wanted to do. in wechat, as i want to choose sticker to send to a friend, it picked the wrong sticker and sent. the crazy is, i tap just one time on that sticker but it sent about ten different stickers to my friend.
and the home button from the AssistiveTouch can't work! i tap it many times it doesn't work!. not just that, when i tap the home button it gone everywhere like checking the stock markets, then suddenly opens my notes! it's really insane! as i want to type a messeges, before my finger touch the screen, it types itself! and the alphabet appears soooo many like vvvbxsbxsjkjkwjjkw like this. as i open my camera, it captures by itself!
why is this happen? please explain. i spent so much money on this iphone.
iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 9.3.1

May 15, 2016 4:22 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby sarbodo,If it is the digitizer would just replacing the screen correct that, or will that need to be an entire phone replacement?

Apple will let you know when you take it in for evaluation.

May 25, 2016 8:40 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby MinerFortyNiner,This issue subsided for months and returned last week with a vengeance. My phone is almost unusable at this point. I went to the Genius Bar this weekend and, AS I STATED PREVIOUSLY, they could do NOTHING. The rep seemed only slightly aware of the problem, and could offer no resolution other than replacing the phone. He basically said it's a problem with iPhone 6 Plus. He also said they used to replace the screens for this issue, but it wouldn't fix the problem, so they don't do that anymore. My phone is out of warranty, so it would cost me $ to replace it thru Apple. Luckily, I have Total Mobile Protection thru Verizon, so I can get a certified like-new replacement for no cost. That should hold me over until the 7 comes out.
In summary, this seems to be a widely occurring issue (at least with 6+), and there is no fix for it. The issue may come and go from time to time, but when it stops it is only temporary. The ONLY resolution is to replace the phone, and hope the replacement doesn't have the same problem.
