Q: How do I get Imessage off my text message app

How so you get the imessage thing off my text app on ipad air 2. It juST put itself on my app for messages from text and cant remove it

iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iOS 9.3.1

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

 

If I understand your post correctly you turned on iMessage on your iPad, and now you want to remove the iMessage feature.  If this is correct, then all you need to do is turn off iMessage in your Settings.

 

iMessages are texts, photos, or videos that you send to iOS devices and Macs over Wi-Fi or cellular-data networks. These messages appear in blue text bubbles. To turn iMessage on or off, go to Settings > Messages.

Use Messages with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
