Q: DDouble capitalizing first letter in Community Only

EEvery time I post in these Community forums on my iPad Pro 9.7" in Safari, it capitalizes and duplicates the first letter. I keep going back and fixing it in my usual posts, but I left it on this post so you could see what I'm talking about. No other page in Safari is doing this. Only the Apple Support Community. I've tried all the standard fixes (restarting, quitting Safari, etc.) but it looks like it may have to do with the actual site itself. I've noticed other people's posts with this same occurrence, so it's not just me. Thoughts?

    Hard to forget what?

And we can never thank our mate from Down Under, Yellowbox, for his level-headedness in starting the "poll" thread

Using the new-look forums, asking for positive comments

which then became the seminal User Tip

Getting the best out of the 'New-Look' forums (2014)

The hair pulling, the fistfights, people jumping off buildings, people predicting the sky was falling if not the end of Western Civilization as we know it now.

DIgging back in my memory cells it was a question by Meg and your answer with a link to Using ASC that got me over here.

It was also your recommenation in that reply  that keep me from joining the complainathon. Something along the lines of Forum changes come and go. At the next changes a noob will look at this Forum as the good old days. Learn the changes, move on.

An attitude I tried to propagate concerning the current brou-ha-ha over the points.Turn lemons into lemonade would be how I'd phrase it.

Thank you for the sage advice.

Many thanks for all the memories. Feel a bit better about all the changes this time around.

At the moment it feels more like a Facebook kindergarten..   no doubt I will find a way round it.

You're welcome. It sounds like you lived through the last changes, I still have the nightmares.

I see the changes both now and then as largely cosmetic. Once you learn them it becomes "Where's the beef ?"

Thank you. I didn't recognize your name right away so I checked your Bio page. It appears you've seen all the changes.

I found this thread of yours below. The one good thing the June 2014 update did was make us iPad users full members. Now I can tell the noobs, "Back in my day we didn't have no stinking screenshots. We had to actually use words."

Answering questions using an iPad1 or 2.

You're welcome. Even in the darkest days following the Forum update I kept replying to people, "On the bright side we can finally do screenshots and smiley faces from an iPad."  The ability to edit was added too.

    G'Day ÇÇÇ

thank our mate from Down Under

Ah, the good old days, when all we had to do was adapt to an Apple Support Communities 'New Look'.

Now we must adapt to an Apple Support Communities 'New Look'. Bummer!

    Regards,

    Ian.
