Q: Fehler beim Update von itunes unter windows 10

After the start auf itunes i got a message that there is a new version. I started the update procedure and it starts with the update not within itunes but as a new installation from the internet. After a while i got the following message:

"Es liegt ein dieses Windows Installer-Paket betreffendes Problem vor. Ein für den Abschluss der Installation erforderliches Programm konnte nicht ausgeführt werden. Wenden Sie sich an das  Supportpersonal oder den Hersteller des Pakets."

Then i deinstalled itunes and tried to install new but got the same message. Then i installed an older Version 12.3.1.23 64Bit and it works. I tried to make the update again but it fails.

 

I use Itunes on an ASUS Laptop with an Intel Core 7 and the newest Version of Windows 10.

I need Itunes for my Iphone 4 and Ipad 3.

Could anyone help?
